Chelsea has been reported to have agreed a £23million fee with Fiorentina to sign Marcos Alonso.
According to reports by Daily Mail UK, personal terms are also understood to have been settled and Alonso, a left-back is only a medical away from conforming the move.
Its believed that talks has been on for days after Chelsea manager, Antonio Conte picked the 25-year-old a top target. This is coming on the heels of the exit of Baba Rahman to Shalke on loan and Kennedy joined Watford.
It is believed that an announcement would be made this afternoon about the return of Alonso to the premier league, after a 2010 and 2013 spell at Bolton.
