FC Basira and Doma United shared the spoils in a thrilling 2-2 draw at the Lafia City Stadium, Nasarawa State, on Sunday, December 7, 2025.
The visitors took the lead through Ramadan Bashir’s stunning shot in the 16th minute, but FC Basira quickly leveled through Emmanuel Iliya’s penalty kick.
Doma United regained the lead in the 47th minute courtesy of Mathew Michael’s powerful shot, only for FC Basira to equalize again in the 89th minute through substitute Jibrin Sani Bala’s clinical finish.
“Both sides created numerous chances throughout the game, but the final whistle left them sharing the spoils,” said Ramalan Abubakar, Media Officer, FC Basira.
The draw maintains FC Basira’s momentum, while Doma United picks up a valuable point away from home.
FC Basira’s next assignment is a mid-week clash against Lobi Stars FC of Makardi on Wednesday, December 10, at the Lafia City Stadium.
